Furniture earns its place through ordinary moments. Breakfast before work. Sunday lunch that carries on into the afternoon. A book beside your favourite seat. Our Black Friday furniture guide brings together dining chairs, coordinated table and chair sets, VERSE living room storage and adjustable office seating, with the details worth checking before you choose.
01 Black Friday dining room picks
Make room for everyday meals and longer gatherings
If your table still works for the room, new dining chairs can be a useful place to begin. Upholstery changes the feel of the setting, while a visible wood frame brings another texture into the room. For Christmas lunches and everyday dinners alike, check the space beneath the table before deciding how many seats to add. If you are updating the whole setting, explore the VERSE dining sets below.
For visible wood grain
HALO Prime
A solid red oak frame meets a fully upholstered seat and back. The mixed-weave fabric brings a quiet layer of texture beside a wooden table. Choose a natural or walnut-coloured finish to connect with the furniture you already own. HALO Prime is worth considering when you want the frame and fabric to contribute equally to the room.
Check the selected set size and dimensions. The walnut option is a finish over red oak, rather than walnut timber.

For a mid-century look
NOYA
NOYA pairs a solid rubberwood frame with a padded seat and curved upholstered backrest. Its rounded lines are easy to consider alongside a round table or a breakfast nook. Look at the rear view as well as the front: in an open-plan room, the chair backs are part of the setting even when nobody is sitting down.
Compare the chair width with the space between your table legs. Confirm the colour and number of chairs in the selected set.
Shop NOYAA simple pairing rule: repeat one detail, such as the warmth of the wood or a curve, and let the upholstery add a different texture. For more help, read our guide to matching dining chairs to your table.
A table and chairs, chosen together
The VERSE collection brings together dining and living-room tables through travertine-inspired surfaces, warm wood-grain finishes and reeded details. Start with the piece your room needs, or carry these shared finishes across both spaces. The two dining sets below pair the same 160cm (63 inches) table with different upholstered chairs; compare the chair designs and select the quantity that suits your household.
For soft curves around the table
VERSE + NOYA Dining Set
The 160cm (63 inches) VERSE dining table combines a travertine-inspired top with fine vertical reeding and softly rounded edges. NOYA’s upholstered seats and curved backrests bring softness to the setting. Choose a chair colour that picks up a tone already in your room, with the table’s warm wood-grain finish tying the look together.
Check the chair quantity and colour in your chosen bundle. The 160cm (63 inches) table is designed to seat 4–6 people.

For oak grain and textured upholstery
VERSE + HALO Prime Dining Set
Pair VERSE’s light travertine-inspired surface with HALO Prime’s FSC-certified solid red oak chair frames and mixed-weave upholstery. The reeding on the table and the grain in the chairs add detail to the room. This pairing brings softly upholstered seating and visible oak structure around a central dining table.
Confirm the selected chair quantity and finish. Measure the full table-and-chair footprint, including room to pull the seats out.

A considered upgrade for your working day
If your current chair leaves you constantly readjusting, use Black Friday to look more closely at fit. Start with the height of your desk, then compare seat depth, lumbar position and armrest adjustment. A chair that offers useful adjustments gives you more ways to set up your workspace around you.
For headrest and seat-depth adjustment
ATLAS
ATLAS combines a mesh back with an adjustable headrest, lumbar support, 4D armrests and seat-depth adjustment. An aluminium alloy base completes the frame. It is a practical model to explore when you want to adjust several parts of your seating position rather than rely on seat height alone.
Check the seat-height range and armrest clearance against your desk. Set up the adjustments for you once the chair is assembled.

For an adjustable mid-back design
AETHER
AETHER offers a mesh back, adjustable lumbar support, 4D armrests and seat-depth adjustment in a mid-back design. The cushioned seat adds a soft surface for daily desk use. Compare its dimensions with your workspace and think about how much room you need to move, turn and pull away from the desk.
Measure the space for the chair and its arms. Choose by fit and the adjustments you will use, then compare the available colours.

04 A useful Black Friday checklist
Four things to check before you choose
- Start with the spaceMeasure your dining area, seating area or workspace. Allow room to pull chairs out, open drawers and walk past the furniture. Use the dimensions of the exact model you are buying.
- Choose the finish in contextLook at the wood, flooring and fabrics already in the room. Repeat a tone or a shape rather than trying to match every surface exactly.
- Confirm what is includedCheck the chair quantity in a dining bundle or chair pack. Review the product dimensions, assembly information and chosen finish before adding it to the basket.
- Check delivery for your plansReview availability and delivery information for your address before ordering furniture for a particular date. Read the UK shipping policy.
Black Friday questions, answered
Is Black Friday a good time to buy furniture?
It can be if the piece already suits your needs and the final price fits your budget. Compare the exact model, finish and quantity, then check delivery timing and return costs. A larger discount is less useful if the furniture does not fit your room or requires buying more chairs than you need.
Does the Black Friday 20% offer cover all products?
Yes. The COLAMY Black Friday offer is 20% off sitewide, including the VERSE tables, dining sets, dining chairs and office chairs featured here. Follow the offer instructions displayed on the store and check your discount in the order summary before paying.
Can I keep my current dining table?
Yes. Start by comparing seat height and chair width with your table, including the space between its legs. A related wood tone or a repeated curve can help new chairs sit comfortably with the pieces you already own.
How many chairs are included in a dining set?
The included quantity follows the chair pack selected on the product page. Check your chosen bundle’s chair quantity and colour before adding it to the basket. The VERSE table is designed for 4–6 people, and the selected pack determines how many chairs you receive.
What are the VERSE side and coffee table tops made from?
They have travertine-inspired decorative surfaces over engineered-wood construction. The stone-look finish pairs with warm wood-grain details. Use coasters, wipe spills promptly and follow the care guidance on each product page.
Where can I check delivery and returns?
Use the UK delivery information and return policy to review the current conditions. Check the selected product’s availability before making plans for a specific delivery date.
